Tarea 10/22 - 10/26

 8th Grade:
Monday-- you will have a test on the present tense conjugations of -ar,-er, and -ir verbs today.  Tonight's homework--reread your esqueleto oral presentation rubric and write your rough draft for  for Wednesday.  Skip lines or double space!!


Wednesday-Your oral presentation rough draft is due today.   Tonight's homework:  Get your graded verb quiz signed by a parent and returned for Friday.  Also, work on your skeleton.

Friday-- Practice and prepare for your esqueleto oral presentation on Tuesday! Make corrections to your rough draft, finish your skeleton, and make index cards if necessary.  Reading off of a piece of paper will not be allowed.  Practice, practice, practice!! Bring your rubric as well!


7th Grade:
Tuesday--Study for your class commands and expressions quiz today.  Study your flashcards, 2 pages of notes, and practice quiz.  Tonight--no homework assigned.

Thursday--1) get your commands quiz signed by a parent/guardian and returned for Monday. 2)Do one of the following homework assignments for Monday:
A.  Compare and contrast Halloween and El Dia de los Muertos.  How are Halloween celebrations different from El Dia de los Muertos celebrations?  In what ways are they similiar?
     or

     B.  Write a poem about El Día de los Muertos

          or

     C.   Write a short story about El Día de los Muertos.

          or

     D.  Make a illustrated / written description about El Día de los Muertos (think graphic novel).

          or

     E.  Make a fact sheet about El Día de los Muertos.

 7th Grade:
Monday--1) write your own Simon dice sequence of 5-8 sentences in Spanish to share with the class tomorrow.  2) share your graded pages 2-5 quiz with a parent/guardian and get signed and returned for tomorrow.

Tuesday--2-sided worksheet 17/18 is due tomorrow for Spanish classes 7-2 and 7-3 and on Friday for Spanish 7-1.

Wednesday--do commands/class expressions flashcards for Friday.  7-1 students will get the flashcard paper on Tuesday and also have this due on Friday.

Friday--Study for your class commands and expressions quiz on Tuesday.  Study your flashcards, 2 pages of notes, and practice quiz.


 8th Grade:
Thursday-- verb packet from last Friday is due today. Tonight's homework-- you will have a test on the present tense conjugations of -ar,-er, and -ir verbs on Monday.  Memorize your endings and study your practice quiz.  You may want to make flashcards for extra-credit--subject pronouns on one side/ verb ending on the other for -ar, -er, and -ir verbs--18 in total)

Homework due Monday: Cut out and match up the question and answer flashcards for Monday.  (Bring in a baggie or envelope.)  Tonight's homework--2-sided practice worksheet due Wednesday.

Wednesday-- Study for your quiz on Friday on pages 2-5 in your book and the notes handed out in class.  You may make flashcards for extra-credit.

Friday--Quiz today.  No homework tonight.


8th Grade:

There will be a vocabulary quiz on chapter 2A vocabulary on Wednesday.  You may make flashcards for extra-credit.  2)  Also, share your graded Quien soy yo? paragraph with a parent/guardian and get signed and returned for Wednesday.  If you received a 1 or a 2 for a grade revisions are due Wednesday as well.

Wednesday-- 1) 2A vocabulary quiz today.  2)Quien soy yo? revisions are due today!!  3) All students should bring back the Quien soy yo? assignment signed by a parent/guardian.  Tonight's homework--finish your classwork (2-sided worksheet 49/51) for Friday.

Friday-- Quien soy yo paragraph about yourself is due next Wednesday (our next class).  Spelling counts!!  This is a communication grade--do your best work!!
